My object:

My object was slightly simple. I wanted to print a block that fit perfectly in my makeup stand to hold spesific makeup brushes, my blush stick, and eyeliner pencils upright. The block itself would fit perfectly in the slot, being 2.5 inches on each side (63.5 mm).
After creating the cube, I took the radii of my makeup brushes (11.59 mm, 8.82 mm, 6.27 mm) , eyeliner pencils (4.63 mm, 3.45 mm, 3.85 mm, 4.63mm), and the width and length of my blush stick (18.5 mm). I then drew the shapes onto the face of the cube and used the pocket tool, cutting the shapes all the way through the cube.
For this project, I struggled especially gathering the measurements of the brushes at a height of 2.5 inches, because it forced me to be precise and accurate, as I would want the makeup tools to stand straight up in the desk compartment.
I enjoyed being able to create something that would help my everyday life, as I use my makeup holder every day. I do wish I had access to a 3D printer, but sadly, I live in Houston and far away from an accessible 3D printer.
